Pupils at E-ACT Blackley Academy helped to design the Academy uniform, which is compulsory for all pupils, including those in nursery.
The uniform consists of:
- Academy Colours v neck sweater or cardigan
- White polo shirt
- Black trousers/skirt/pinafore (no other colour is acceptable)
- Black tights/ Dark socks (no other colour tights are acceptable)
- Plain Black shoes (No other colour is acceptable and trainers WILL NOT be acceptable)
- No tie is required
- PE KIT: black jogging bottoms, leggings or shorts along with a white t-shirt and trainers. (No football shirts).
School trousers and blouses can be purchased at a cheaper rate from local supermarkets.
We also offer lightly worn uniform at an extremely discounted rate directly from school

We are living in uncertain times, where every penny counts when livelihoods are actively at risk. We wanted to take the financial burden off parents by creating a way to easily access affordable gently used school uniform, with all sale proceeds going straight back into the school’s uniform stock.
Parents simply browse for what they need, purchase and receive their pickup information – no sign up required, no banks broken. In turn, when parents are ready to donate, they’ll be adding to a wonderful ecosystem that keeps funds coming in for the school to purchase more items.
