Knowledge is power and some of the most powerful can be gained through studying history. Our younger pupils build their historical understanding of chronology, practice comparing and contrasting and are inspired by important people. As children progress through school, they study influential people, world events and different periods of time that have shaped history and help us understand who we are today.
