On Thursday 8th November Soren Bennick’s Power of One Anti – Bullying show came to E-ACT Blackley Academy.
All children watched a performance which acted out the various types of bullying including physical bullying, exclusion bullying and cyber bullying and were made aware of the power each of them hold to report and bullying they may witness and to help make it stop. 
All children left the performance with the tools to be able to recognise bullying and with the courage to report it if they see it to make their school and their community a safer place for everyone.
The Academy was then presented with a pledge board which all off the academy will sign. This pledges that we will not bully others, we will not stand by while others are bullied and we will report any bullying that is witnessed.
