Blackley Academy students were recently treated to a special visit by Young Sports Leaders who made the 12 hour flight from sunny Sao Paulo, Brazil iahead of Manchester City’s annual Cityzens Giving Young Leaders Summit.
City’s Young Leaders hosted a whole school assembly for the children to explore the culture of Brazil, where they learnt about the ancient martial art of capoeira and sang samba songs in Portugese, before taking to the field for a fun day of sports activities!
