Africa Day
Africa Day is being held at Simpson Memorial Hall on Moston lane, Saturday 21 May from 1 – 4pm and is organised by the North Manchester Inclusion partnership. There are 54 different countries in the African continent and this free event showcases the range of different cultures, including African food, a fashion show, African drumming performances, DJ, arts and crafts, moonlight stories for children, African music workshops for young children and toddlers and workshops including African names, the Journey of chocolate and textile art.
