Africa Day

Africa Day is being held at Simpson Memorial Hall on Moston lane, Saturday 21 May from 1 – 4pm and is organised by the North Manchester Inclusion partnership. There are 54 different countries in the African continent and this free event showcases the range of different cultures, including African food, a fashion show, African drumming performances, DJ, arts and crafts, moonlight stories for children, African music workshops for young children and toddlers and workshops including African names, the Journey of chocolate and textile art.

Queens Park litter pick and Family Fun day

Join Keep Manchester Tidy at Queens Park, Harpurhey, for the Platinum Picks Launch Event on Saturday 21st May from 11am -3pm. There will also be rides for small children, activities and games, plus a visit from the Lord Mayor at 1pm.
